Is your marketing campaign successful?

Hours of work go into creating advertising and email campaigns, but the truth of the matter is that only a small amount of businesses measure their campaign’s effectiveness.

Here are some simple ways to measure your campaign’s success:

Social Media

If you are working on a social media campaign a few simple things that can gauge your efforts are likes and shares on a post.

New followers on your page since a post was pushed is also a great way to realize the extent of your social reach. If your goal is to receive more impressions, you’ll want to monitor social media mentions and hashtags.

Print Advertising

Ask your customers. Are they constantly telling you they saw your ad in a publication? Jot those mentions down. If they aren’t, ask for feedback face-to-face or by way of email survey. Remember, incentives like coupon codes or a giveaway push online survey takers to participate.

If you are seriously questioning your print initiatives, try including special offers, coupons, separate phone number, email address or landing page specific to the publication to track your ROI.

Email Campaigns

Opens and click-throughs are a no-brainer when it comes to email campaign analytics. However, many are unsure what a good open rate or click-through is for their campaign.

Luckily, wildly popular email automation platform, MailChimp, provides industry-specific benchmarks so you can gauge whether you are above or below the curve. Check them out here:
